This page is in response to a web server 404 error - file not found.
If you have ever received a "404 Error - Page Not Found" or "The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." Please read the following:
All browsers save the files and pictures that are browsed in what is called the "cache" (pronounced cash). When the browser is requested to display a web site, it uses the saved files and pictures and does not download the site files. This can make the web site display faster, but does not download the latest changes to the site.
ARC made major changes to its web site last year which included a change in the web site page file's extension. If your browser's cache still has the old files stored in it, you may not be able to get to some or all ARC web site pages.
You need to do one the following: after opening a browser (and each browser is a little different):
- Internet Explorer: If the Help command is not there, press ALT key to display it.
- Safari: same as Internet Explorer.
- Google Chrome: Press F1 - Help
- FoxFire: Select Help
When in the Help window, enter "cache" in the search window and look for text that describes how to either clear the cache and/or prevent it from saving files
When this has been accomplished, try the ARC web site again - www.arcforpeace.org.
For additional information on a browser's "cache", place the word in a search engine.
To go to the ARC web site Home page, select the "ARC Home Page" in the upper left.
