The Woman's Club of Danbury/New Fairfield and members of the United
Methodist Churchh of Danbury put together bags of beans at the church on Thursday January 24th 2019.
Bags of beans will go to Comida, a food pantry at the Association of
Religious Communities (ARC). The project was scheduled to coincide with the Rev. Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, but was re-scheduled to Thursday due
to the weather.
The Woman's Club is also filling 40 grocery bags for the pantry to distribute as a
supplement to what people receive at the pantry.
Thank you to the Danbury United Methodist Women and to the Womens Club of Danbury/New Fairfield
for bagging beans. We could not be more appreciative. Love you!
